Group Product Manager – Digital Experience

Sydney | Permanent

$210,000–$220,000 base + 20% target bonus + potential share earnings

A product leadership opportunity where strategy, commercial thinking and hands-on delivery come together. We're partnering with an established, innovative business operating at the intersection of digital commerce, technology, data and media to appoint a Group Product Manager – Digital Experience.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a commercially significant digital platform, lead and develop a team of Product Managers and help shape digital experiences that deliver meaningful customer and business outcomes.

We're looking for someone who combines strong product management foundations with strategic thinking, commercial judgement and the ability to bring people together around complex problems.

You may already be an experienced Group Product Manager, or you may be a high-performing Senior, Lead or Principal Product Manager who's ready to step into broader leadership.

We're open to both.

The opportunityReporting to the Platform Leader, Digital Experience, you'll be responsible for leading product strategy, roadmap delivery and the development of a team of three Product Managers.

You'll work closely with engineering, design, commercial stakeholders and senior leaders to translate strategic business priorities into clear product decisions and measurable outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Product strategy and roadmap ownership: Lead the creation, prioritisation and delivery of a consolidated product roadmap, balancing customer needs, commercial objectives and technology opportunities.

- People leadership and development: Lead, coach and mentor Product Managers, supporting their development and building strong product management practices.

- Commercial and customer outcomes: Connect product decisions to measurable business value, revenue opportunities, platform performance and customer experience improvements.

- Cross-functional leadership: Partner with engineering, design and business stakeholders to align priorities, manage dependencies and deliver complex initiatives.

- Stakeholder engagement: Build relationships across different levels of seniority, influence decisions and navigate competing business priorities.

- Discovery and delivery: Champion product discovery, data-informed decision-making, thoughtful prioritisation and effective execution.

- Innovation and continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to improve self-service digital experiences, introduce new capabilities and strengthen the overall platform proposition.

This is a hands-on leadership role that requires both strategic perspective and the willingness to get involved in the detail.

What we're looking forYou'll bring demonstrated experience in product management, with the ability to translate complex business challenges into clear product strategies and successful delivery outcomes.

Ideally, you'll have experience across product strategy, MarTech, AdTech or media. However, we're realistic about the breadth of this combination and open to candidates with transferable experience and the ability to develop industry knowledge.

We're particularly interested in backgrounds such as:

eCommerce and digital marketplaces

Experience building or evolving B2B or B2C digital platforms, particularly self-service experiences, customer-facing tools or commercially focused products.

SaaS and digital platforms

Experience owning product strategy and delivery for complex technology platforms, balancing user needs, technical considerations and commercial priorities.

MarTech, AdTech and media technology

Experience developing digital advertising, marketing technology, campaign management or related platforms, with an understanding of how technology creates customer and commercial value.

Media agencies and consultancies

Experience combining strategy, commercial acumen and cross-functional leadership, particularly where you've influenced complex stakeholder groups and been accountable for meaningful product or delivery outcomes.

What will help you succeed?

We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:

- Strong product ownership: You've personally shaped product direction, made prioritisation decisions, managed trade-offs and delivered meaningful outcomes.

- Strategic and commercial thinking: You understand how product decisions connect to customer value, business performance and commercial growth.

- Leadership capability: You've demonstrated an ability to coach, mentor, influence and bring people together, whether through formal management or cross-functional leadership.

- Stakeholder influence: You're comfortable working with senior leaders, navigating different perspectives and building alignment around difficult decisions.

- Hands-on delivery: You can move between strategic conversations and the practical detail required to deliver successful products.

- Comfort with ambiguity: You can bring structure and direction to evolving problems without needing every answer upfront.

- Curiosity and learning agility: You're motivated to understand new industries, challenge assumptions and continuously develop your knowledge.

- Genuine motivation: You're interested in digital commerce, technology and media, and excited by the opportunity to solve complex business problems.

You don't need to have done everything already. We recognise that strong product leaders don't all follow the same career path.

You may have spent years developing deep product expertise as an individual contributor, while also mentoring colleagues or leading cross-functional initiatives.

You may have extensive eCommerce or SaaS experience but limited exposure to advertising technology.

Or you may bring strong strategy and commercial experience from a consultancy or agency environment, with the ambition to take on broader product ownership.

These backgrounds are all worth exploring.

What matters is that you've demonstrated strong product fundamentals, sound judgement, meaningful leadership capability and the motivation to continue growing.

We're not looking for a particular number of years in a title. We're looking for someone with the capability and potential to make an impact.
