Join our collaborative Phoenix engineering team in a primarily office-based structural design position. You'll work closely with experienced engineers while developing the skills and confidence to take on increasingly challenging building projects.
Note
Candidates must have Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification and a genuine interest in building structural design. Previous experience is a plus, but not required. Recent graduates and early-career engineers are encouraged to apply. This position focuses on building structural design rather than bridge, highway, or transportation engineering.

Job Description
- Assist with structural engineering design for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
- Prepare structural calculations, drawings, and engineering documentation under the guidance of experienced engineers.
- Support the design of steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structural systems.
- Work with project engineers to develop practical, code-compliant structural solutions.
- Assist with structural analysis, design reviews, and construction documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers throughout the design process.
- Learn industry software, engineering standards, and building design best practices.
- Gain exposure to real-world engineering challenges while developing your technical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related discipline preferred.
- Interest in building structural engineering and design.
- 1+ years of building structural design experience is a plus, not required.
- Familiarity with structural analysis, engineering calculations, or construction drawings through coursework, internships, or professional experience.
- Exposure to AutoCAD, Revit, RISA, RAM, or other structural engineering software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and eagerness to learn.
- Recent graduates and candidates with internship or academic project experience are welcome.
