Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Shift: Morning shift, Tuesday–Saturday, 06:30–14:30
Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable and professional Shift Lead Officer to support a healthcare client in New Milford. In this role, you’ll provide security services on-site and lead the officers on your shift to ensure a safe, calm, and professional environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support security officers during the morning shift
- Ensure all post orders and site procedures are followed
- Monitor access control, visitor management, and general safety on site
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm and professional manner
- Complete incident reports and daily activity logs accurately and on time
- Communicate effectively with client staff, visitors, and your Securitas team
- Support training and onboarding of new officers on your shift
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent Securitas values at all times
Requirements
- Prior security, military, law enforcement, or related experience preferred
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
- Ability to work the set schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 06:30–14:30
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and respond quickly in emergencies
- High school diploma or GED
- Must meet all licensing and background requirements as per state and client regulations
