Job Overview:
The Sample Coordinator – Private Brands will support the fast-paced development cycle of Bloomingdale’s Private Label brands, including AQUA, AQUA Cashmere, and C by Bloomingdale’s. This role plays a critical part in sample management, cross-functional communication, and logistical organization, while collaborating with internal and external partners to bring exclusive collections, collaborations and seasonal campaigns to life.
Essential Functions:
- Procure, track, and organize all development, marketing, collaboration, and campaign samples
- Weekly Fitting Preparation
- Unbox and organize samples
- Arrange fit racks
- Coordinate sample submissions with vendors and ensure timely returns
- Log and track outgoing packages and ensure timely sample returns to the mailroom
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Strong communicator that practices open and continuous communication and values keeping others informed
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams
- Ability to balance and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Able to work a flexible schedule based on company needs
Essential Physical Requirements:
- This position requires heavy lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands.
- Involves standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 30 lbs. stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
- May involve reaching above eye level. Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
