ABOUT THE ROLE
Join an AI product team building software that helps engineers design physical systems. You will help ship a product from an early stage, with broad ownership across user-facing features and backend systems.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Partner with a frontend engineer to improve the product interface and accelerate delivery to production.
- Build and own features end to end, from architecture through deployment and reliability.
- Take on increasingly backend-focused work across product features, infrastructure, and systems.
- Help establish effective practices for AI-assisted software development across the team.
- Work with engineering, AI research, and product specialists to prototype and improve ideas for industrial users.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Three to ten years of experience as a full stack or software engineer, including startup experience.
- Experience taking products or substantial features from concept to production, with strong ownership and adaptability.
- Strong backend skills and solid frontend capabilities, including experience building complex web applications.
- Proficiency with .NET, React, and TypeScript, and hands-on enthusiasm for AI coding agents.
- Experience owning architecture, deployment, and reliability, plus interest in physical systems, engineering design, or simulation.
- Based in the United States or Canada and authorized to work without visa sponsorship.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $200,000 to $275,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
LOCATION
Remote in Canada or the United States, with one week onsite in San Mateo, California, every six weeks.
