Driver - Heavy Vehicle

Key Responsibility:

- Operate heavy vehicles to transport goods as per assigned delivery schedules and routes.

- Ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and perform routine inspections before and after trips.

- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company transport policies.

- Coordinate with the transport supervisor and warehouse teams for accurate loading and unloading of goods.

- Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit.

- Maintain accurate delivery logs, fuel consumption records, and trip reports.

- Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or delays to the transport supervisor immediately.

- Assist in basic vehicle upkeep such as checking tire pressure, oil levels, and cleanliness.

- Support last-mile delivery coordination when required.

- Comply with all regulatory requirements related to heavy vehicle operation, including licensing and rest periods.

Desired Experience:

- 3–5 years of proven experience driving heavy vehicles in a logistics, warehouse, or distribution setting.

- Valid heavy vehicle driving license (Category 4 or equivalent).

- Familiarity with local routes, navigation tools, and basic vehicle troubleshooting.

- Strong focus on safety, punctuality, and professionalism.

- Ability to handle documentation and communication related to delivery operations.
