Your Role and ImpactFlowserve is seeking a CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for machining and inspecting precision-manufactured components, primarily from stainless steel materials, while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency standards are met. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their machining expertise while working with advanced CNC equipment and contributing to the production of critical flow control solutions used around the world.
Key Responsibilities• Operate CNC machining equipment including 3-axis turning, 5-axis turning, and milling machines.
• Follow engineering drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing documentation to produce components to specification.
• Inspect machined components using measuring tools and equipment to ensure quality standards are achieved.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Set up and adjust machine settings to support efficient and accurate production.
• Machine a variety of materials, including stainless steel, while meeting production requirements.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and assist in resolving technical problems as they arise.
• Support team objectives and perform additional related duties as needed.
Required Qualifications• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
• Ability to operate CNC machining equipment safely and effectively.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments, including scales and calipers.
• Basic machine shop math and calculation skills.
Preferred Qualifications• 0-2 years of CNC machining or related manufacturing experience.
• Experience operating CNC turning and milling equipment.
• Experience machining stainless steel or similar materials.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical machining problems.
• Familiarity with quality inspection processes and procedures.
