About the Role
tec4u is looking for a Head of Growth & MarTech to build, operate, and technically execute the technology infrastructure behind data-driven growth — CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and AI-powered campaigns. The HoG identifies and technically pre-qualifies potential customers through automated, technology-driven systems and ensures their structured handover to Sales.
Operating model: The HoG is accountable for the performance, quality, and reliability of the systems and campaigns they operate — including the technical execution of AI-powered campaigns and the quality of leads handed over to Sales. From the point of handover, Sales assumes full accountability for customer-facing activities: outreach, commercial qualification, opportunity development, proposals, and closing. Overall strategic responsibility for market development and expansion decisions remains with the CEO; the HoG provides data-driven recommendations to inform those decisions.
What You’ll Own
HubSpot & MarTech Stack
- Lead implementation and administration of HubSpot as the core CRM/marketing automation platform (setup, workflows, integrations, data hygiene)
- Design and operate the technological foundation connecting marketing, sales, and CS systems for full-funnel visibility
AI-Powered Campaign Execution & Lead Generation
- Select and implement suitable AI technologies for prospect identification, data enrichment, and automated pre-qualification
- Independently set up, configure, execute, monitor, and optimize automated AI-powered campaigns and processes from a technical perspective
- Own the structured, automated handover of generated and pre-qualified leads to Sales at a clearly defined handover point
- Operational responsibility ends at that handover point; Sales owns everything from first customer contact onward
AI-Powered Sales Tools
- Select, implement, integrate, and operationally manage AI-powered sales and marketing tools (lead scoring, enrichment, predictive analytics, prospecting automation)
- Evaluate commercial value and ROI of candidate tools before implementation, including HubSpot integration
- Accountable for technical performance, data quality, reliability, and continuous optimization — not for commercial use of these tools by Sales
Growth & Revenue Intelligence
- Build attribution models and reporting frameworks showing campaign and system performance
- Translate data into recommendations for the CEO and functional leaders to inform strategic and expansion decisions
- Continuously test and iterate on growth experiments and automation using a data-first approach
Expansion & Market Intelligence
- Analyze cohort, retention, and expansion-revenue data to surface potential new segments and opportunities
- Present data-backed findings and recommendations to the CEO quarterly; final decisions on market development and expansion remain with the CEO
AI & GTM Enablement
- Pilot AI agents and automation across the lead generation and pre-qualification process
- Build internal AI literacy across the growth/marketing team
- Establish guardrails for responsible AI use — GDPR compliance, data privacy, accuracy checks, human-in-the-loop review
Cross-Functional Alignment
- Partner with Sales, CS, and Product on shared definitions (e.g., what qualifies as a “sales-ready lead”) and a clean handover process
- Act as the technical and data backbone that Sales and Marketing leadership rely on, without owning their commercial outcomes
How Success Is Measured
- Technical performance and reliability of campaigns, automations, and the MarTech stack
- Automation efficiency and system uptime/quality
- Volume and quality of leads generated, pre-qualified, and handed over to Sales
- Data quality and attribution/reporting accuracy
What You’ll Bring
- English & German fluency (required)
- 5+ years in growth, MarTech, or marketing operations, with hands-on HubSpot implementation experience
- Proven experience building and operating automated lead generation and pre-qualification systems
- Strong technical fluency with CRM/automation platforms, integrations (APIs, webhooks), and data pipelines
- Experience selecting, implementing, and managing AI-powered sales/marketing tools
- Sharp analytical skills — attribution modeling, campaign diagnostics, reporting
- Practical knowledge of AI/automation tools for GTM, with GDPR awareness
- Comfortable operating within a clearly scoped technical/operational mandate, handing off commercial ownership to Sales
Nice to Have
- HubSpot certification(s)
- Startup/PE-backed scaling experience
- SQL/scripting skills
- French
What Makes This Role Attractive
You'll own the growth engine end-to-end — from lead generation through customer expansion — with direct visibility to the CEO. You focus on systems, data, and signal; Sales and CS own the relationships and the close. This is a builder's role: architecting
infrastructure one day, digging into a broken workflow or a churn signal the next.
The expected base salary for this position is EUR 70,000–100,000 per year, based on full-time employment (100%), excluding annual bonus and equity (when applicable). For part-time arrangements, salary is adjusted pro rata. The final offer within this range depends on job-related skills, experience, location and market conditions.
