Account Executive
True Talent Solutions Partners · New York · onsite
ABOUT THE ROLE
Join an early-stage mental health care company expanding access to licensed therapy for students through their existing insurance. You will own school partnerships across New York, from initial outreach through close, helping connect more young people with care.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Manage the full sales cycle, from outbound prospecting and tailored presentations to closing and handoff to the Success team.
- Build relationships across a portfolio of approximately 150 schools, engaging counselors, principals, and district administrators.
- Adapt your approach to the needs of each school and stakeholder, typically closing partnerships in one or two calls.
- Conduct school-facing outreach and meetings in the morning, then manage Salesforce, follow-ups, and planning in the afternoon.
- Visit schools and attend district meetings and events, with travel of up to 25%.
- Partner with Growth and Success on handoffs and retention, and share field insights with Product, Marketing, and leadership.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- One to four years of full-cycle B2B sales experience at an early-stage startup, including consistent quota attainment and a record of building your own pipeline.
- Confidence with outbound prospecting and cold calling, multi-stakeholder sales, and relationship-led selling.
- Experience closing relatively short sales cycles and working independently in an evolving environment.
- Experience managing pipelines in Salesforce or a similar CRM.
- A genuine interest in youth mental health; experience selling to K-12 schools, districts, or education-adjacent buyers is a plus.
- Ability to work from the New York office on a hybrid schedule and travel for in-person school visits.
