Senior FPGA & Digital Hardware Engineer

GE Healthcare · Waukesha, United States · hybrid

Job Description SummaryJoin GE HealthCare and help develop the digital electronics behind next-generation Magnetic Resonance imaging systems.

As a Digital Hardware Engineer on our Digital Controls & Mixed Signal Engineering team, you will contribute to circuit boards and FPGA-based systems used for data acquisition, control, processing, and communications.

We welcome candidates whose experience may be stronger in digital board design, programmable-logic development, embedded systems, or laboratory integration. You do not need to be a full-time RTL designer or have experience with every technology listed.

This position may be filled at the Engineer, Lead Engineer, or Senior Engineer level based on the selected candidate’s demonstrated experience, technical strengths, and expected scope of responsibility. The final title, career level, responsibilities, and compensation will be aligned accordingly.

Early-career engineers will work with experienced team members while developing broader design ownership. More-experienced engineers may own substantial designs, lead technical projects or architecture decisions, and mentor other engineers.

GE Healthcare is a leading global medical technology and digital solutions innovator. Our mission is to improve lives in the moments that matter. Unlock your ambition, turn ideas into world-changing realities, and join an organization where every voice makes a difference, and every difference builds a healthier world.
