Intern - Origination & Capital Mkts (NY)

Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Contribute to weekly market intelligence and deal activity reporting
- Track and analyze sponsor, borrower, and deal activity across the market thru excel trackers and dashboards
- Research private equity firms, borrowers, investment banks, and industry sectors to help prepare meeting materials and relationship coverage plans
- Gain exposure to transaction evaluation and screening
- Present a Final Project at the conclusion of the program to senior members of the firm
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's students in a quantitative field, including Economics, Econometrics, Finance, Applied Math and Statistics are preferred
- 2 years of financial coursework preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- Demonstrable passion for financial markets
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills since interaction with senior level management will be required

Hybrid Work Schedule
- 4/1 split (Monday-Thursday work from office, Friday optional work from home)
