Summary:
This role is focused on managing the consolidation and transformation of local application landscapes within the Customs organization. The primary goal is to transition from a fragmented application portfolio to a globally governed and optimized environment.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive inventory of local Customs applications.
- Own application lifecycle governance across the portfolio.
- Drive decisions regarding application renewals and identify consolidation opportunities.
- Maintain visibility of costs, contracts, risks, dependencies, and decommissioning activities.
- Provide reporting and recommendations to senior leadership regarding the portfolio.
- Build partnerships with Local Customs, Local IT, and other stakeholders.
- Mobilize country organizations to support discovery, assessments, migrations, and decommissioning.
- Drive alignment between local and global priorities.
- Act as the primary escalation point for country-level issues related to the application portfolio.
- Partner with Global Customs leadership and facilitate decision-making on application landscape.
- Ensure that decisions support standardized global processes and business objectives.
- Lead the transfer of ownership from local organizations to global governance.
- Drive migration and decommissioning programs; ensure activities are completed and verified.
- Coordinate execution across business, technology, and vendors.
Must Haves:
- 6-9 years of experience in Application Portfolio Management.
- Experience in IT Asset Management.
- Knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management.
- Proven experience in Technology Transformation.
- Experience managing large-scale change programs.
- Familiarity with vendor and contract management.
