Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Chadstone, VIC, for a System Engineer - Level 3. As an integral part of our team, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining complex IT systems. This includes managing operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, and network protocols. Additionally, they will handle all Tier 2 and 3 support escalations from customers, and work closely with other engineers and staff to ensure that all IT systems function effectively and efficiently at optimum levels. If the support work is completed, then engineer will be involved in project work as well.
Qualifications
- Past experience with a managed system provider(MSP) will be highly regarded
- 5+ years of experience in System Administration roles including patching, vulnerabilities,
- Information Security & Compliance – Secure Score, Microsoft Purview, Information Protection, Insider Risk Management, Data Loss prevention, Microsoft Priva and Azure Policy
- Microsoft Security Solutions - Defender suite Defender for Endpoint, Cloud, Cloud Apps, Identity and O365), Sentinel, Privileged Identity Management and M365 Defender
- We need someone with hands on experience to install Fortinets, Meraki and SOPHOS.
- Strong hands-on technical proficiency across Azure, on-premises infrastructure, VMware and/or Hyper-V, networking, firewalls and backup/DR.
- Strong proficiency in Sharepoint and copilot. Should know migration and best practices of sharepoint.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and keen analytical abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, customers, vendors, and stakeholders
- Relevant industry certifications, such as Microsoft certifications or CCNA
