Transactional Real Estate Legal Assistant

ABOUT THE ROLE
Provide dedicated, one-on-one support to a high-volume partner in a commercial real estate practice. This role is suited to an experienced legal assistant seeking a stable, long-term career in transactional legal services.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Manage client matters from conflict checks and new matter intake through closing binder assembly.
- Form business entities, primarily LLCs and limited partnerships.
- Redline and format transactional documents, including converting documents to PDF.
- Coordinate with registered agent and due diligence service providers.
- Enter attorney time daily and provide general administrative support to the partner.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 3 years of experience as a legal assistant in a law firm transactional commercial real estate practice.
- Experience supporting a busy partner, forming LLCs, assembling commercial closing binders, and handling conflict checks and new client intake.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Word, including heavy redlining, formatting, and PDF conversions.
- Familiarity with AIA, AIR, and CAR forms, along with registered agent and due diligence services.
- A stable work history and a long-term career focus as a legal assistant.
- Eligible to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Annual base salary: $95,000 to $110,000. Visa sponsorship is not available.
LOCATION
On-site, five days per week in downtown San Diego, California.
