This includes remaining informed about cloud technologies, emerging technology trends, modern software delivery practices, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and the evolving federal technology landscape.

Who Thrives Here

The successful candidate is a strategic and client-focused technology leader who can move comfortably between executive customer conversations, solution and modernization strategy, and the leadership of experienced Project Managers. This leader is growth oriented and works cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders and engages technical teams to identify opportunities to better support the customer mission, shape and advance solutions, and drive continued innovation.

This opportunity is well suited for someone who:

- Builds trusted, long-term relationships with federal customers by understanding their missions, challenges, priorities, and evolving technology needs.

- Understands how to lead teams through Program and Project Managers rather than personally managing every detail directly.

- Balances customer satisfaction, contractual performance, employee engagement, financial results, and long-term growth.

- Creates clarity and accountability while giving leaders room to lead.

- Develops high-performing teams through mentoring, coaching, feedback, and clear expectations.

- Understands modern software development and technology trends well enough to challenge assumptions, engage technical leaders, and help shape credible solutions without needing to be a hands-on technologist.

- Asks what we should be doing next and can turn customer needs, emerging capabilities, and strong ideas into actionable strategies, roadmaps, demonstrations, pilots, or solutions.

The Opportunity

The Senior Director will be accountable for the strategic direction and overall success of a portfolio of federal, AI-enabled software development, application modernization, and cloud-enabled programs.

This leader will oversee Program/Project Managers and other portfolio leaders who are responsible for day-to-day contract execution. The Senior Director will establish consistent portfolio governance, monitor performance across programs, strengthen customer relationships, develop leaders, address cross-program risks, and ensure that teams have the resources and organizational support needed to succeed.
