Parking Cashier

The Parking Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service while collecting parking fees, processing transactions, and assisting customers with parking-related questions. This position requires accuracy in handling cash and electronic payments, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Rate: $20 an hour

- Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collect and process parking payments using cash, credit/debit cards, and other approved payment methods.
- Issue receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Balance cash drawer and complete daily reconciliation reports.
- Assist customers with parking rates, directions, and general inquiries.
- Monitor parking equipment and report malfunctions or maintenance issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous cashier, customer service, retail, or parking experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Strong mathematical and cash-handling skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
