Position Summary: The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for the office, providing a welcoming and professional experience for guests, callers, and employees. This position manages the front desk, answers and directs incoming calls, coordinates visitors and deliveries, and maintains an organized and secure reception area. The Receptionist also provides administrative and clerical support, including scheduling
appointments, managing calendars, processing mail, maintaining office supplies, and assisting with reports and other general office needs. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, dependable, service-oriented, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment.
The Blueprint for Success - Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming guests at the office’s front desk
- Serving as back-up to a few key positions to execute transactional type processes/items
- Partnering with the sales team to: monitor work/project opportunities, identify and share public invites for work/bids and organizing and overseeing information in the bid process to ensure information is accurate and not duplicative.
- Directing visitors to the appropriate employee and office
- Answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls
- Tidying the reception area and restocking supplies, such as paper or pens
- Monitor inventory levels and order office or reception supplies as needed
- Providing basic information to callers or escalating the issue to the office manager
- Receiving, sorting and distributing daily mail and deliveries
- Maintaining office security by following safety procedures and controlling access
- Scheduling appointments and managing calendars
- Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, faxing, and compiling reports

Tools for the Job:
Required:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a receptionist, administrative, clerical, customer service,or similar office support role.
- Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications, email, calendars, and standard office equipment.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and appropriate judgment when interacting with visitors, employees, vendors, and callers.
Preferred:
- Onsite in Frederick, CO
- Associates degree in a finance related field
- Associate degree or certificate in Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a receptionist or administrative support position.
- Experience in a professional office environment serving as a primary point of contact for visitors and callers.
- Experience with Microsoft Office/365, scheduling/calendar software, CRM systems, or other office management software.
- Previous experience with office supply management, mail/delivery coordination, and maintaining visitor or access procedures.
