- Level: Mid-level

About the roleOur sites run high-density GPU infrastructure around the clock. As a Data Center Technician you'll carry the day-to-day hardware and cabling work on your shift: server installs, break/fix, rack builds, and clean, high-quality network cabling at scale.
This is an all-rounder role rather than a specialist one. You'll cover the full span of site operations rather than going deep in a single area, working through jobs independently.
Your responsibilities- Replace failed hardware components including drives, fans, PSUs, motherboards, and CPUs
- Rack and stack servers, switches, and supporting equipment for new deployments and expansions
- Install, route, and terminate copper and fibre cabling
- Troubleshoot link-level network faults, from cable and transceiver testing through to isolating the failure
- Handle general site operations work across hardware, cabling, and physical infrastructure
Your key competenciesWe're looking for someone who works independently on routine hardware and cabling tasks and knows when to escalate.
- Hands-on data center operations experience, or hands-on operations experience in a comparable critical environment
- Hardware competency: break/fix, component replacement (drives, fans, PSUs, motherboards, CPUs), rack and stack
- Network at link level: cable and fibre installation, fibre optics work, and link troubleshooting. Device configuration is not expected
- Operational discipline: understands criticality, stops and escalates rather than improvising when unsure
- Ability and willingness to work an on-site shift rotation.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and a broad scope of work
Nice to have- Experience with liquid cooling, including DLC loops.
- Hands-on exposure to enterprise GPU servers (NVIDIA Ampere, Hopper, or Blackwell generations) or switch integration work.
- Experience across more than one operational environment.
- Experience contributing to cluster deployments or data hall build-outs as a hands-on technician.
