Role Purpose
This role exists to unlock technical value for Mitti’s customers, designing and implementing solutions that ensure customers integrate deeply with the platform and realise measurable operational outcomes, while bridging the gap between Go-to-Market (GTM) teams and Product, Design & Engineering (PDE). They own end-to-end delivery of integration offerings within defined scope, timeline, and budget, escalating only where customer requirements exceed standard package boundaries.
What you'll do
- Own technical solution design for select customers, from scoping integrations and data workflows through to working implementations.
- Build and maintain Workato integrations and automations that connect Mitti to customers' systems and trigger actions off events in the platform.
- Deliver our standard Integration/Automation packages end-to-end (scope, build, test, handoff) on time and within the effort budget.
- Advise customers and partners on integration architecture, and support CSMs and AEs with implementation plans and pre-sales technical questions (APIs, security architecture, cloud integrations).
- Act as the technical bridge between GTM, PDE and API & Integrations Engineering, routing customer integration feedback to the roadmap.
- Spot recurring patterns and repeated "out of scope" requests across customers, and help turn them into packaged offerings, reusable automations and shared tooling in the Customer Solution & Implementation toolkit.
What you'll bring
Integration and automation
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining automations in an iPaaS or workflow-automation platform, such as Workato or Zapier.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining custom system-to-system automations (webhooks, REST APIs, OAuth, data mapping) triggered by events in a core platform, beyond configuring pre-built templates.
- You can speak in detail about an integration tool you've used: what you built, how it worked and the trade-offs.
Custom code
- Comfort writing code (JavaScript, Python or similar) inside workflows where drag-and-drop steps fall short: custom scripting, complex conditional logic, parsing nested JSON and error handling.
- Broader scripting or programming experience (Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Go) to automate workflows or extend the platform for specific customer use cases.
Data and APIs
- SQL and relational data modelling, and experience turning raw data into business-relevant insight.
- Confidence reading API documentation and building or troubleshooting API integrations across a wide variety of enterprise system architectures, data models and integration patterns.
Ways of working
- Credible with both engineers and business stakeholders, with a customer-first, self-directed approach to a high-volume, concurrent workload.
- Fluent use of AI tools and coding assistants to speed up spec writing, data analysis and automation builds. You review AI-generated code for quality, correctness and security before deploying.
