ABOUT THE ROLE
This hands-on, customer-facing engineering role brings together AI, product, and implementation for an AI-driven insurance technology platform. You will work with enterprise customers to understand their workflows, build practical automations, and turn successful solutions into scalable platform capabilities.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own enterprise implementations from gathering requirements through deploying working solutions.
- Build and ship AI agents and automations, often within the same week as customer discussions.
- Work with post-sales customers to understand business problems and scope technical solutions.
- Bring successful customer-specific work into the core platform.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to turn customer insights into scalable features.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Three to six years of software engineering experience in forward deployed, solutions, implementation, or product engineering roles.
- Production engineering experience, with a strong balance of hands-on coding and customer-facing scoping and requirements gathering.
- Full-stack proficiency and experience shipping software features or automations for enterprise customers.
- Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
- Experience at a venture-backed startup and comfort working in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong customer communication, ownership, and ability to switch between customer conversations and focused coding.
- Experience building or deploying AI, machine learning, or LLM-powered workflows in production is a plus.
- Insurance or financial services experience is a plus, as is a strong technical education background.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary is $180,000 to $300,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

On-site in San Francisco, California.
