What you’ll achieve:
We are seeking a Senior Principal Engineer – AI Networking Solutions Architect to join our Services Solutions Architecture team. In this highly visible role, you will help shape the future of AI infrastructure by designing and deploying high-performance networking solutions for some of the most demanding AI environments.
Working closely with Dell consultants, engineering teams, partners, and customer stakeholders, you will lead the architecture, deployment, optimization, and support of large-scale AI networking infrastructures while ensuring technical excellence and customer success throughout the engagement lifecycle.
You will:
- Lead the deployment, integration, and optimization of AI networking infrastructure solutions leveraging NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel technologies.
- Partner with customers to assess business and technical requirements, deliver tailored solutions, and serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the engagement lifecycle.
- Proactively identify risks and potential issues, driving timely resolution while fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes and an exceptional customer experience.
- Tackle complex, cross-organizational challenges, influence architectural strategy across multiple programs, and develop comprehensive technical documentation, including solution designs, deployment guides, and operational procedures.

Essential Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise or data center environments, with proven success designing and deploying large-scale AI networking infrastructures.
- Deep expertise in networking technologies, including IP switching and routing, L3 BGP EVPN data center architectures, firewalls, security solutions, and advanced networking technologies such as NVIDIA InfiniBand and Ethernet.
- Hands-on experience with NVIDIA networking technologies, including InfiniBand (Quantum), Ethernet (Spectrum-X), MLNX-OS, NVIDIA Cumulus Linux, and Enterprise SONiC, as well as networking platforms from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, or Extreme Networks.
- Strong project management, analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in dynamic environments.
- Excellent customer-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business audiences. Valid driver's license required.
Desirable Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and relevant networking certifications.
- Experience with NVIDIA DGX, DGX SuperPOD, or similar GPU-based AI platforms, as well as familiarity with Generative AI frameworks and related tools.
