HSE Officer

Madre Integrated Engineering · Doha, Qatar

- Conduct routine inspections of excavation, lifting, confined space, and traffic‑related works.

- Deliver daily toolbox talks and safety inductions to workers and subcontractors.

- Monitor PTW systems for high‑risk activities (hot work, confined space, lifting operations).

- Prepare hazard identification and risk control measures for site activities.

- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports and corrective action plans.

- Maintain HSE documentation, inspection logs, and compliance records.

- Ensure adherence to Ashghal requirements, project specifications, and international HSE standards.

- Liaise with project engineers, supervisors, and contractors to resolve safety issues.

- Participate in HSE meetings and company QHSE promotional initiatives.

RequirementsQualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering / Occupational Health & Safety.

- Minimum 5 years’ HSE experience in roads and infrastructure projects.

- Previously Ashghal‑approved HSE Officer (mandatory).

Certifications (Mandatory/Preferred)

- NEBOSH IGC / IOSH Managing Safely.

- Ashghal HSE approval for infrastructure projects.

- Valid Qatar government project approvals.

- HSE training (Work at Height, Confined Space, Fire Safety, Lifting Operations).
