The City of Miamisburg Parks and Recreation Department is accepting applications for the 2027 seasonal position of Aquatic Crew Leader (Guest Services) at Sycamore Trails Aquatic Center.
The Guest Services Crew Leader reports to the Aquatic Assistant Operations Manager. This position plays an integral role in the fulfillment of Miamisburg Parks and Recreation’s mission and vision. The Guest Services Crew Leader is responsible for the daily on-site supervision of their assigned operational area.
The Guest Services Crew Leaders is responsible for coordinating staff to maintain efficient operations, promote safety, and serve as the first line of customer support. This position plays an important role in assisting subordinate staff in meeting the various needs of our patrons. The Guest Services Crew Leader also provides rule enforcement, completes reports, assists with cleaning, emergency action procedures activation and performs other duties as assigned at Sycamore Trails Aquatic Center.
Compensation
Compensation for this position is $14.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on qualifications (DOQ).

The Guest Services Crew Leader will be thoroughly committed to Miamisburg Parks and Recreation mission. All candidates should have a desire to learn and uphold Aquatic Center Policy. The Guest Services Crew Leader must be comfortable talking to patrons and working as a team. The Guest Services Crew Leader must desire to conduct themselves in a respectful and positive manner to promote the highest quality customer experience possible.
The Guest Services Crew Leader supervising guest services staff must have a thorough understanding of computing systems and the ability to learn new software and practice quickly. They must promote positive and proactive customer service as their teams are the first point of contact for all patrons. They must have excellent math/reasoning skills and the ability to solve problems and improvise. The Guess Services Crew Leader is expected to assist in leading monthly staff in-services as well as completing staff performance evaluations. Two (2) seasons experience as a Lifeguard, Pool Attendant, or similar role, a basic understanding of chemical processes, water safety, and current or previous lifeguard in a licensed certification program is preferred but not required. This position requires the completion of Red Cross Lifeguard* or First Aid/CPR* training within 30 days of the start of employment.
*Must maintain certification as a condition of employment.
