Mirage is an AI video company focused on making creation dramatically easier. Our team tackles some of the hardest creative and technical challenges in generative media.
We get to rethink how people collaborate with AI that can actually do creative work with them—defining entirely new interaction paradigms for AI-native video tools. We make that possible by building multimodal agents that turn creative direction into edits, rendering engines that composite multiple layers of video and graphics, and generative video models trained from the ground up that create new media when needed.
All of this comes together in Captions, our creative workspace for generating, editing, and designing video. The technology behind Captions is now available more broadly: Tesseract gives any AI agent native video-editing capabilities, while developers can integrate our models into their own products through APIs.

WHO WE ARE
Mirage is an AI-native video platform that intelligently orchestrates production and editing through natural language. Our models leverage contextual awareness to execute the same creative decisions a professional editor would — dramatically improving productivity for experienced teams, while making video creation accessible to anyone.
We’re an interdisciplinary team addressing some of the most difficult technical and creative challenges in generative media. As an early member of our team, you’ll tackle foundational problems that remain largely unsolved across the industry, driving an outsized impact on the future of creative expression.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You’ll work directly with leadership, creative teams, product marketers, and other stakeholders to own content for product launches, feature announcements, and our ongoing presence on X. You’ll create launch videos, demos, hype snippets, animations, and original posts that give people a reason to follow what we’re building.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
- Develop the concepts, stories, and formats for launch content, and take them through production and publishing.
- Create content featuring yourself, generated actors, and others — using AI agents, AI models, Captions’ editing software, screen recordings/demos, and other creative mediums.
- Collaborate with video editors on more involved pieces. Provide clear briefs, references, and feedback, and see each piece through the final cut.
- Keep a steady flow of content between launches, drawing on new features, creative experiments, and relevant conversations in tech and AI.
- Write the post copy, test different hooks and edits, and use audience response to improve the work.
- Build an active community on X by responding to our audience and joining relevant conversations
- Proactively find and coordinate creative partners—including agencies, actors, and independent creators—to bring video ideas into production.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- You have strong visual taste and creative instincts. You understand pacing, composition, sound, and what makes an opening hook work.
- Your work has personality and a clear point of view. You can bring that voice to a brand.
- You’re deeply familiar with X and the tech and AI communities on it. You recognize a timely opportunity and can bring an original angle.
- You’re comfortable working with video editors and resourceful enough to produce strong content independently with AI.
- You move quickly, take ownership, and know how much production an idea needs.
- You’re already experimenting with AI creative workflows and have finished work to show for it
- You’re great on camera and excel at creating personality-led content
