Contracts Manager

Auria is looking to hire a Contracts Manager. This role is ONSITE in Colorado Springs, CO.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:

· Ensure compliance with Auria policies, processes, and procedures.

· Manage commercial and government contracts and subcontracts through proposal, negotiation, execution, administration, modification, and closeout.

· Draft, review, negotiate, and administer commercial agreements, including NDAs, teaming agreements, subcontracts, purchase-related agreements, licenses, distribution agreements, and other contractual instruments.

· Review solicitations, proposals, and contractual requirements and identify contractual, commercial, export compliance, and business risks.

· Support international sales activities by reviewing and negotiating commercial terms, identifying contractual and regulatory requirements, and coordinating with internal stakeholders.

· Support export compliance activities related to international sales and the transfer of products, technical data, software, and services, including requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

· Coordinate with internal stakeholders to identify export jurisdiction, licensing, authorization, and contractual requirements and ensure appropriate approvals are obtained. · Support the administration of U.S. Government contracts and subcontracts, including applicable FAR, DFARS, agency supplements, and contractual flow downs.

· Develop negotiation strategies and lead or support negotiations involving pricing, terms and conditions, scope, intellectual property, liability, termination, export requirements, and other contractual matters

· Provide timely and practical contract guidance to Program Management, Business Development, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and other internal stakeholders.

· Monitor contract and subcontract performance, deliverables, funding, compliance, and other contractual requirements.

· Manage customer and subcontractor communications and support resolution of contractual issues and discrepancies.

· Review contractual deliverables and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance with applicable requirements.

· Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready contract and subcontract files, including electronic contract briefs and related records.

· Support proposal and new business activities by providing contract terms and conditions analysis, contractual input, and risk assessments.

· Support contract closeout activities and ensure completion of outstanding contractual obligations. · Participate in Program Management Reviews (PMRs), business reviews, and other meetings as appropriate. · Support development and improvement of Contracts policies, procedures, templates, and work instructions.

· Support Contracts team initiatives and collaborate with other Contracts team members on workload and business priorities as needed.

· Ability to independently manage multiple contracts, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external customers and subcontractors.

· Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and complete contract records.

· Familiarity with contract management and ERP systems.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:

· Bachelor’s degree in business, contract management, law, international business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

· 8-12 years of commercial and/or government contract management or administration experience.

· Demonstrated experience reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and administering commercial agreements.

· Experience supporting international sales, export-controlled transactions, or international commercial agreements.

· Working knowledge of U.S. Government contracting principles, including FAR and DFARS.

· Working knowledge of ITAR and EAR requirements applicable to commercial transactions and international business activities.

· Experience with common contract types, including Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Time-and-Materials (T&M), and Cost-Reimbursement contracts.

· Strong organizational, communication, negotiation, and customer relations skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

· U.S. citizenship required.

PAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $100,000 - $130,000
