Join us as Affiliate Marketing Manager Spain to scale Qonto’s affiliation channel in Spain: from a strategic acquisition channel to also a building block of our brand presence in LLM and GEO discovery. You will develop existing partners, open new ones and deliver contract-signed and KYB (business verification) targets. You will report to Enrico Armilli https://www.linkedin.com/in/enrico-armilli-2575b319/, our Head of Business Development – Southern Europe. The foundations are in place: the channel has run part-time for about two years, and you will be its first full-time owner as we plan to invest more in affiliation in 2027.
➡️ WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Run the Spain affiliation channel end to end: Own strategy, budget and results. Adjust when you’re behind target, and find extra opportunities when you’re ahead.
- Grow the partner base: Spend roughly 60% of your time developing existing affiliates and 40% prospecting new networks, publishers, advertisers and topics.
- Negotiate fixed placement fees and variable acquisition fees: Build partnerships that create value beyond paid rankings, such as joint initiatives and events.
- Judge lead quality, not just volume: Track contract-signed-to-KYB conversion. Reconcile tracked leads monthly with Growth Ops (Aymeric) and payments and budgets with Finance.
- Make affiliation count for LLM and GEO visibility: Work with our SEO/GEO team (Sergi) so affiliate placements strengthen how Qonto appears in AI-driven discovery. Brief our main networks on product launches and get partner assets from Design and Content.
➡️ WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Affiliation expertise: You have hands-on experience running affiliate programmes, at a network or agency (Awin, financeAds) or on the advertiser side. You know how placements, acquisition fees and conversion quality fit together.
- Negotiation and relationships: You’ve improved a partner’s economics without just paying more, and you can align internal teams (Finance, Growth Ops, SEO) behind a deal.
- Business decisions from data: You read volume, cost, conversion and quality, spot attribution gaps, and turn them into budget decisions. We need someone who decides from the numbers, not someone who builds BI dashboards.
- Prospecting and market mapping: You can map a market, qualify and prioritise networks and publishers, and build a pipeline you can act on.
- Spanish market knowledge: You understand the Spanish affiliate landscape, and existing relationships would help you start fast. Banking or insurance experience is a bonus, not a requirement.
➡️ WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU
- Scale an established channel, not start one: Spain already has live partners and results, so you won’t build the strategy from scratch. Your job is to take it further and shape the 2027 growth and investment plan.
- A proper handover: You overlap for 1–2 weeks with the person who has run the channel so far, so you start with context and not guesswork.
- A channel that matters beyond acquisition: You help affiliation grow from a strategic acquisition channel into a pillar of Qonto’s brand in LLM and GEO discovery, including how GEO budget is allocated to it.
- Colleagues to learn from: You join Partnerships with teammates in Madrid and Barcelona, and you work with our affiliation counterparts in France, Germany and Italy.
- Hybrid in Barcelona or Madrid: You choose the city and come to the office three days a week.
➡️ YOUR FUTURE MANAGER
Your manager will be Enrico Armilli https://www.linkedin.com/in/enrico-armilli-2575b319/, our Head of Business Development – Southern Europe.
- His path? Enrico joined Qonto a few months ago after a career in direct sales at big tech.
- What does he bring to the team? Don’t expect a micromanager: Enrico calls himself a people-first mentor, more focused on your growth than on teaching you the playbook step by step.
[DIVERSITY] At Qonto, we understand that true diversity isn’t just about ticking boxes on a hiring checklist. Apply regardless of the boxes you tick - who knows? You may have the missing piece of the puzzle we’ve been searching for all along.
[HIRING PROCESS DURATION] On average, our hiring process lasts 20 working days. More information on our candidate journey here https://qonto.com/en/careers/candidate-journey
[DATA RETENTION] By applying, you agree that Qonto processes your personal data to assess your application. Your data is kept for up to 2 years in our candidate pool. Read our Privacy Notice https://qonto.com/en/legal-documents/privacy-notice for full details.
