About the Role

We are looking for a Regional Workplace Senior Manager to translate Nscale’s global workplace strategy into effective, consistent delivery across the Americas.

This is a regional leadership role sitting between the Director of Workplace and local Workplace Operations Managers. You will connect locations, build regional consistency, anticipate future requirements, and ensure workplace priorities support Nscale’s global strategy as we grow. This is not a day-to-day office management role; local Workplace Operations Managers retain responsibility for operational delivery and employee experience within their individual offices.

Based in San Francisco, you will lead workplace planning, governance, commercial activity, and regional projects across the Americas, partnering closely with People, IT, Security, Finance, Legal, and business leaders.

What You’ll be Doing

-

Lead and coordinate Workplace operations across the Americas, providing direction and line management to local Workplace Operations Managers.

-

Translate global Workplace strategy, standards, policies, and procedures into consistent regional delivery while accounting for appropriate local requirements.

-

Act as the primary regional escalation point for Workplace matters, resolving issues across locations and identifying operational trends, risks, and opportunities.

-

Maintain a clear view of the Americas workplace portfolio, including locations, capacity, utilisation, lease considerations, and future requirements.

-

Partner with People and business leaders on headcount forecasts and translate them into workplace capacity and space-planning requirements.

-

Identify potential capacity constraints and future space requirements ahead of business need, and support portfolio strategy, expansion, consolidation, and new-location business cases.

-

Lead the sourcing, assessment, commercial negotiation, internal approvals, and implementation of serviced and flexible office solutions across the region.

-

Maintain oversight of regional serviced-office agreements, renewal dates, capacity, supplier performance, and future needs.

-

Lead smaller workplace initiatives and serviced-office openings, and partner with the Workplace Projects team on major developments, expansions, and relocations.

-

Represent regional operational requirements during project planning and ensure a smooth handover from project delivery into business-as-usual operations.

-

Lead the Workplace workstream for regional acquisitions and integrations, assessing acquired portfolios and developing practical integration plans.

-

Own regional Workplace OpEx and CapEx planning in partnership with local Workplace Operations Managers and the Director of Workplace.

-

Consolidate regional budgets and forecasts, identify commercial efficiencies, and support procurement and key supplier negotiations.

-

Maintain clear reporting on capacity, headcount, budgets, projects, risks, and key operational metrics.

-

Ensure regional compliance with global Workplace standards, health and safety requirements, and relevant local legislation.

About You

-

8+ years of experience in workplace, facilities, corporate real estate, or a closely related operational function.

-

Experience leading multi-site or regional workplace operations, ideally across multiple markets.

-

Strong portfolio-planning capability, including capacity planning, workplace strategy, leases, and flexible-office solutions.

-

Commercially minded, with experience managing budgets, suppliers, procurement, and contract negotiations.

-

Experience delivering workplace projects, office openings, expansions, relocations, or significant workplace change.

-

A practical, structured approach to managing competing priorities in a fast-growing and changing environment.

-

Comfortable partnering with senior stakeholders and working cross-functionally with People, Finance, IT, Security, Legal, and business leaders.

-

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn complex operational information into clear recommendations.

-

Willingness to travel across the Americas as required.

Nice to Have

-

Experience supporting workplace integration through acquisitions or rapid-growth environments.

-

Experience in a high-growth technology, cloud, infrastructure, or similarly complex international business.

-

Familiarity with workplace requirements across the United States, Canada, and Latin America.

-

Experience establishing regional standards, operating models, reporting, or scalable workplace playbooks.
