About the Team

Product Quality & Reliability is a cross-site team based in Brno and Eindhoven, responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of complex technical systems and modules.

This role primarily supports Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) products, including mid-range systems and camera integration, within a low-volume, high-complexity engineering environment.

Position

As a Product Quality Assurance (PQA) Engineer, you will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure product quality throughout the development lifecycle.

You will focus on risk management, FMEA, test planning, requirements traceability, and reliability engineering, identifying potential risks and driving improvements to products and development processes.

How Will You Make an Impact?

- Drive product quality activities across system integration and module development projects.

- Lead FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and Safety Risk Assessments (SRA) at module and system levels.

- Support the definition of verifiable requirements and ensure traceability between requirements, risks, and tests.

- Develop test strategies, procedures, coverage, and acceptance criteria.

- Support Design for Reliability, reliability analysis, and reliability growth modeling.

- Define reliability testing approaches, including test-to-fail and test-to-pass.

- Analyze product quality and reliability data to identify risks and recommend improvements.

- Collaborate with engineering teams on root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

- Communicate quality risks, project readiness, and progress to key stakeholders.

What Will You Need to Succeed?

- Master's degree with 3+ years of experience or Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, reliability engineering, or complex technical system development.

- Background in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

- Experience working with low-volume, high-complexity products in an engineering or industrial environment.

- Strong knowledge of FMEA, risk management, requirements-based testing, and reliability engineering.

- Familiarity with statistical methods, Design of Experiments (DOE), and structured problem-solving.

- Ability to independently manage quality activities and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

- Proficient English and willingness to travel up to 10–20%.

Nice to Have

- Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) or Six Sigma training.

- Experience with Weibull analysis, ReliaSoft, or MATLAB.

- Background in semiconductor equipment, scientific instrumentation, or similar high-tech industries.

- Knowledge of electron microscopy or TEM systems is an advantage, but not required.
