About the Role
We're looking for a Sales and Marketing Operations Manager to build the structure, visibility, and operating discipline that help Blueprint's sales organization grow. This role will own the core processes and data that connect account planning, pipeline management, forecasting, proposals, contracting, delivery handoff, and performance reporting. It also owns marketing analysis: measuring campaign efficacy, maintaining the attribution model, managing account and contact segmentation, and feeding marketing and sales data into the business development scorecard that leadership uses to run growth.
This is not a passive reporting role. You will work directly with sales leaders and individual sellers to improve how opportunities are qualified, advanced, documented, forecasted, and transitioned. You will also connect sales with marketing, solution teams, delivery, recruiting, finance, legal, and executive leadership so decisions are based on current information and important follow-up does not get lost between functions.
The right person is analytical and exacting without becoming bureaucratic. You know how to introduce the right amount of process, challenge incomplete or inconsistent data, turn sales and marketing reporting into clear business insight, and create systems that make it easier for teams to do high-quality work.
What You'll Own
- Own the day-to-day administration, governance, and continuous improvement of the sales CRM, including account, contact, activity, opportunity, pipeline, and forecast data.
- Define and maintain practical standards for opportunity stages, qualification, required fields, next steps, close dates, probability, ownership, and closed-lost analysis.
- Run weekly pipeline and forecast processes, prepare leadership views, identify risk and inconsistency, and follow through with sellers on decisions and updates.
- Develop dashboards and reporting for pipeline coverage, stage movement, aging, conversion, sales cycle, bookings, revenue visibility, renewals, account concentration, source attribution, and seller activity where useful.
- Turn sales data into clear insight and recommendations for leadership, including where opportunities are stalled, coverage is weak, forecast risk is rising, or process changes are needed.
- Support annual and quarterly planning, including targets, account segmentation, account ownership, capacity assumptions, and performance measurement.
- Coordinate account-planning and business-review cadences, ensuring action items, owners, decisions, and customer commitments are documented and completed.
- Build and maintain repeatable workflows for opportunity intake, pursuit launch, proposal development, pricing approvals, statements of work, contracting, renewals, and delivery handoff.
- Partner with finance on bookings, revenue outlook, pricing inputs, margin visibility, commissions or incentive administration, and reconciliation of CRM and financial data.
- Partner with marketing on lead routing, campaign planning, account-based initiatives, event follow-up, and shared funnel definitions.
- Own marketing performance analysis, including campaign efficacy by channel, program, and audience; cost per lead, cost per opportunity, and pipeline and bookings sourced or influenced; and clear recommendations on where to increase, reduce, or stop spend.
- Define and maintain the attribution model for marketing-sourced, marketing-influenced, and partner-sourced pipeline, including the rules for first-touch, multi-touch, and account-level credit, and ensure CRM and marketing automation data are structured to support it.
- Build and maintain account and contact segmentation (industry, company size, service-line fit, buying stage, and engagement level) used for targeting, account-based initiatives, territory and coverage planning, and campaign measurement.
- Own the data behind the business development scorecard: define the metrics and their sources, consolidate sales and marketing data, produce the scorecard on a regular cadence, and ensure every figure reconciles to CRM, marketing automation, and finance records.
- Coordinate with solution, delivery, recruiting, and legal teams to surface resource, scope, contracting, compliance, or launch risks early.
- Maintain sales templates, playbooks, account-plan formats, proposal resources, process documentation, and onboarding materials.
- Evaluate and improve sales tools, integrations, automation, and AI-enabled workflows while protecting data quality and avoiding unnecessary complexity.
- Support leadership with focused analysis and special projects related to growth, performance, customer concentration, service-line mix, and commercial operations.
What Success Looks Like
- Leadership has a timely, credible view of pipeline, forecast, account health, and commercial risk.
- Sales teams use the CRM as the working source of truth because the process is clear, useful, and consistently reinforced.
- Pipeline reviews focus on decisions, strategy, and movement rather than reconciling incomplete information.
- Opportunities progress through consistent qualification and approval standards, with fewer late-stage surprises.
- Marketing, sales, solution, delivery, recruiting, finance, and legal teams have clearer handoffs and shared visibility.
- Reporting produces action: weak coverage, stalled pursuits, forecast risk, and process bottlenecks are identified early and addressed.
- Leadership can see which campaigns, channels, and segments produce qualified pipeline and bookings, and marketing investment decisions are made on that evidence.
- The business development scorecard is produced on schedule, reconciles across sales, marketing, and finance, and is the shared basis for growth reviews.
What You'll Bring
- Five or more years of sales operations, revenue operations, marketing operations, commercial operations, business operations, or related experience in a B2B technology, consulting, or professional services environment.
- Hands-on experience administering and improving an enterprise CRM, including data standards, reporting, dashboards, workflow, and user adoption.
- Strong understanding of enterprise sales processes, pipeline stages, qualification, forecasting, account planning, proposals, contracting, and delivery handoff.
- Advanced analytical skills and the ability to translate imperfect or complex data into clear conclusions, risks, and recommended actions.
- Experience analyzing marketing performance, including campaign measurement, attribution modeling, segmentation, and funnel analytics, and connecting marketing activity to pipeline and revenue outcomes.
- Experience building repeatable processes across teams without adding unnecessary friction.
- Strong project management, documentation, prioritization, and follow-through across multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Confidence working directly with senior leaders and sellers, including the judgment and tact to challenge assumptions or data quality constructively.
- Excellent written a
