Position Summary

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for generating qualified sales opportunities and building pipeline through proactive prospect engagement. As the first point of contact for many prospective members, the SDR plays a critical role in educating prospects about Inspirato, identifying interest and fit, and creating a seamless transition into the sales process. This individual partners closely with Membership Directors to execute strategic outreach initiatives, qualify opportunities, and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate qualified sales opportunities through outbound prospecting activities, including phone, SMS email, chat and other engagement channels.

- Educate prospective members on Inspirato's value proposition, membership offerings, and luxury travel experiences.

- Qualify inbound and outbound leads, identify customer needs, and advance prospects through the early stages of the sales funnel.

- Partner closely with assigned Membership Directors to develop outreach strategies, prioritize opportunities, and maximize prospect engagement.

- Schedule and confirm qualified appointments for Membership Directors, ensuring a seamless handoff and exceptional prospect experience.

- Maintain accurate prospect, activity, and pipeline data within Salesforce and other sales tools.

- Consistently achieve or exceed activity, pipeline generation, and meeting booking goals.

- Track and communicate key performance metrics, pipeline progress, and conversion results.

- Collaborate effectively with Sales Leadership, Marketing, and cross-functional teams to optimize lead generation and conversion efforts.

- Demonstrate professionalism, resilience, integrity, and a customer-first mindset in all prospect interactions.

- Continuously develop product knowledge, sales skills, and industry expertise.

Qualifications

- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented sales environment.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport and influence prospective customers.

- Excellent listening, discovery, and objection-handling skills.

- Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization abilities.

- Self-motivated, coachable, and driven to achieve performance goals.

- Demonstrated resilience and professionalism in handling rejection and challenging conversations.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to CRM accuracy and process excellence.

- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.

- Passion for travel, hospitality, luxury experiences, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

- 1-3 years of sales development, business development, inside sales, hospitality, or customer acquisition experience.

- Experience generating opportunities through outbound prospecting and appointment setting.

- Familiarity with Salesforce, Salesloft, Outreach, or other sales engagement platforms.

- Experience in luxury hospitality, travel, membership-based services, or consultative sales environments.

Compensation & Performance Expectations

- This is a performance-driven sales position with compensation tied to achievement of individual and team sales objectives.

- Sales Development Representatives are expected to maintain a healthy pipeline and consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue objectives.

Base Salary: $50,000 | On Target Earnings: $85,000

This role offers a competitive base salary plus uncapped commissions based on individual performance. Compensation is designed to reward both the quality and quantity of sales, including individual Club sales, travel sales, and quarterly production accelerators.

We build compensation structures that reflect comparable market rates for companies of similar size, revenue, and geography, while recognizing individual experience, performance, and demonstrated capability.
