ABOUT THE ROLE
Join an early-stage AI company serving manufacturers and government organizations. You will lead customer discovery, shape deployment opportunities, and work with engineering teams to bring AI agents into operational environments.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead discovery conversations with manufacturers to identify operational challenges and define suitable use cases.
- Build code-assisted demos using AI tools and the company platform to show prospective customers how solutions could work.
- Develop and present business cases and ROI models to support new pilots and account expansions.
- Coordinate deployments with customer IT, procurement, and supply chain teams alongside Forward Deployed Engineers.
- Support customer expansions by scoping additional workflows and measuring business value.
- Help pilots meet success metrics and progress toward production deployment.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- One to three years of experience in strategy consulting, business operations, or deployment and field roles at enterprise AI or software companies.
- Experience with manufacturing, industrial, supply chain, or procurement projects, including direct work with operators and customer teams.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders, manage enterprise relationships, and communicate effectively with executives and operational teams.
- Experience with discovery, use-case scoping, go-live ownership, field adoption, and scaling pilots to production.
- Strong business case and ROI modeling skills, plus experience with strategic partnerships and revenue-focused customer relationships.
- Comfort using Claude, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted development tools to build prototypes and automate work.
- A bachelor's degree and work authorization that does not require visa sponsorship.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $160,000 to $230,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
LOCATION
On-site in San Francisco, California, five days per week, with 15% to 30% international travel to Europe and Asia. Relocation to San Francisco is expected if needed.
