ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a leading Florida commercial law practice as a mid-level associate handling sophisticated transactional real estate matters. You will work closely with experienced partners on complex deals involving a range of domestic and international investors, developers, and financial clients.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Manage transactional real estate work across acquisitions, dispositions, and financing.
- Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, leases, and related instruments.
- Collaborate with partners on developer-focused transactions and Florida matters referred by other law firms.
- Support complex mixed-use, condominium redevelopment, transit-oriented, and cross-border projects.
- Provide practical, responsive counsel while working collaboratively across the practice.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Three to six years of sophisticated transactional real estate experience at a major or strong regional law firm.
- Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, and leases.
- Strong academic credentials and a JD from an accredited U.S. law school.
- Admitted to the Florida Bar or eligible to sit for the Florida Bar.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Leasing, development, hospitality, and developer-oriented deal experience are beneficial.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $240,000 to $365,000 annually, depending on experience. Eligible for a year-end bonus upon meeting a 1,900 billable-hour target. Relocation assistance and Florida Bar costs are covered for out-of-market hires. Standard benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Visa sponsorship is not available.
