- Chair or enable planning governance and performance reviews, ensuring decisions, owners, due dates, and escalations are explicit and followed through.
- Develop recovery plans for output gaps and material or capacity constraints, and track execution until factory commitments are restored.
- Drive planning process standardization, master-data quality, system discipline, and adoption of common ways of working across the factory network.
- Use analytics and scenario modelling to expose risks early, evaluate alternatives, and support timely decisions by factory and business leadership.
- Improve delivery predictability, planning stability, cycle time, inventory effectiveness, and resource utilization through structured problem solving and continuous improvement.
- Ensure readiness for new product introduction, product transfers, ramp-ups, and dual-manufacturing strategies through integrated planning and operational risk management.
- Build strong interfaces with peer factories and central planning teams to share capacity, resolve network constraints, and align global manufacturing priorities.
- Develop and manage the department budget, workforce plan, competency roadmap, and succession pipeline.
- Create a culture of safety, quality, customer focus, collaboration, learning, and accountability across the planning organization.
