Facility Manager

As a technical building manager, you are responsible for keeping our company buildings (head office, production site, and external office location) and all related facilities running smoothly and efficiently. You combine hands-on experience with organizational insight.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the optimal functioning of the three locations through maintenance, budget management, and day-to-day supervision.

- Performing minor maintenance and repairs on buildings, installations, and furniture.

- Supervising and coordinating external technicians for both routine maintenance and larger maintenance, repair, or renovation projects.

- Monitoring technical systems and identifying the need for improvements or preventive maintenance.

- Supervising facility services like security, maintenance, cleaning, and waste management.

- Ensuring proper functioning of access and security systems such as fences, alarm systems, and surveillance cameras.

- Keeping the building safe, orderly, and clean, including managing personal protective equipment.

- Organizing adequate company emergency response.

- Contributing to efficient collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Required Background:- Practical technical knowledge and experience with maintenance and repairs.

- Experienced in managing external service providers or technicians.

- Problem-solving skills and independence.

- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

- Forklift certificate or willingness to obtain one.

- Able to communicate (spoken and written) in both Dutch and English.

You'll be working with clients in the defense and security sectors, obtaining a Certificate of No Objection issued by the AIVD (Dutch General Intelligence and Security Service) is mandatory.
