Financial Analyst

Your Role and ImpactAs a Financial Analyst, you will support accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting across Flowserve’s Finance organization. You will contribute to end-to-end accounting activities, including General Ledger accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, and closing processes.
Working closely with site controllers and cross-functional stakeholders, you will help strengthen internal controls, support audit readiness, and identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting quality.
Key Responsibilities- Perform General Ledger accounting activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare financial reports and ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal-control requirements.
- Support SOX compliance activities and internal and external audits.
- Identify accounting issues and contribute to process-improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with site controllers and other stakeholders to support accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and maintain accounting documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Support the resolution of financial-reporting and accounting-related queries.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Hungarian.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
- Professional accounting certification.
