Furnace Welder

In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the integrity and reliability of industrial furnaces through proficient welding and fabrication techniques.
Responsibilities for Candidates
- Perform welding and fabrication work on industrial furnaces following safety protocols and procedures.
- Conduct inspections and assessments to identify defects and areas in need of repair.
- Repair and replace damaged or worn furnace components, including tubes, refractory materials, and support structures.
- Utilize various welding techniques, such as TIG, MIG, and Stick welding, to meet project requirements.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with industry standards, codes, and specifications.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain and care for welding equipment, tools, and materials.
- Document work performed, including welding logs and equipment maintenance records.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Furnace Welder in an industrial setting.
- Must pass Weld Test
- Proficiency in various welding techniques and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented and committed to producing high-quality work.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment and outdoors when required.
