Product Lead,

Operational World Model

Location: Westminster, CO; Herndon, VA

Vantor is shaping the future of spatial intelligence by evolving the TensorGlobe platform with an Operational World Model—a next-generation capability that creates a persistent, high-fidelity representation of the physical world by bringing together One World Terrain-grade geospatial content, high-fidelity simulation, synthetic sensor modeling, and real-time operational context. This capability provides a common environment where humans and AI can train, plan, simulate, and operate from the same shared understanding of the world.

As Product Lead, you will set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for this transformative TensorGlobe capability and lead its evolution from concept to scaled product. You will bring together terrain, simulation, autonomy, and mission systems into a scalable foundation for mission rehearsal, AI development, operational planning, and multi-domain decision making. You will shape the product strategy, build alignment across teams and customers, and guide the choices that turn an emerging capability into a differentiated product and durable business.

Working across Engineering, Go to Market, Communications, and customers, you will shape TensorGlobe’s evolution to address emerging defense priorities while expanding opportunities across international government and commercial markets. You will define a new generation of operational world modeling capabilities that bridge today’s geospatial intelligence with tomorrow’s AI-enabled operational environments.

We’re looking for a product leader with an entrepreneurial mindset and a track record of turning an emerging opportunity into a product customers value, from shaping the initial concept through launch and adoption. Experience founding a venture, building a new product line, or creating a new product within an established organization is especially valuable. We’re particularly interested in leaders from robotics, autonomy, industrial automation, or other fields where data and models of the physical world help people and machines make decisions and take action. Experience in geospatial or Earth observation brings a valuable perspective to this work.

First 90 Days

Your first 90 days will focus on establishing a clear, evidence-based product thesis for the Operational World Model: which customers and missions it should serve, what problems it should solve, how it will create distinctive value, and it evolves TensorGlobe. You’ll build the understanding and alignment needed to turn that thesis into focused product priorities.

- First 30 days: Build a grounded view of TensorGlobe’s capabilities, technical direction, customer commitments, product portfolio, and market opportunities. Listen to customers and internal teams across Product, Engineering, Go to Market, Capture, and Program Management.

- By 60 days: Develop and test an initial product thesis with customers and stakeholders. Clarify priority users and missions, unmet needs, the roles of terrain, simulation, sensor modeling, and operational context, and the assumptions that need validation. Survey emerging technologies in world modeling, simulation, synthetic data, autonomy, and AI, and assess how they could shape product differentiation and roadmap choices.

- By 90 days: Align stakeholders on the product thesis and its implications: target customers, priority use cases, differentiated value, initial capability priorities, and a practical plan to validate demand and guide the roadmap.

Responsibilities

- Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for TensorGlobe’s Operational World Model, evolving the platform beyond geospatial data into a persistent operational representation of the physical world. Identify the technologies, markets, and strategic partnerships that can extend it into new domains, and develop the business case, target customer segments, and adoption paths.

- Lead the convergence of One World Terrain, simulation, synthetic sensor modeling, autonomy, and operational context into a unified capability that enables humans and AI to train, plan, and operate from a common world model.

- Translate operational challenges from defense, international government, and commercial customers into scalable product capabilities, balancing customer value, technical feasibility, and business priorities.

- Drive product requirements for world modeling capabilities, including terrain and 3D content, dynamic world state, sensor modeling, simulation fidelity, interoperability, and real-time services.

- Partner with Raptor, Forge, Operational Terrain, Go to Market, and Capture teams to align on customer and mission needs, prioritize high-value use cases, and support customer engagements, demonstrations, proposals, and product positioning. Translate those opportunities into roadmap-aligned capabilities for mission rehearsal, digital engineering, AI development, operational planning, and multi-domain decision making.

- Represent the product vision with executive leadership, customers, industry partners, and government stakeholders, serving as the internal and external champion for TensorGlobe’s Operational World Model.

- Lead product development from opportunity discovery and customer validation through product definition, launch, adoption, and continued evolution. Establish clear outcomes, make tradeoffs, and keep teams focused on delivering customer value.

- Build and align a cross-functional product effort across engineering, design, data, operations, Go to Market, and program teams; influence senior stakeholders and create the conditions for teams to move quickly through ambiguity.

- Create a practical path from world-model concepts to real operational use, including how physical-world data, changing conditions, simulation, and sensor representations support planning, training, evaluation, and action by people and autonomous systems.

- Use customer evidence, operational workflows, and real-world performance to validate product direction and guide iteration, including the relationship between simulated environments and the systems or settings they represent.

Minimum Qualifications

- Substantial experience leading products or product portfolios, with a track record of setting strategy and delivering outcomes across complex, cross-functional organizations.

- Experience in one or more domains where digital representations, sensor data, simulation, or models of the physical world inform decisions or actions by physical systems. Relevant backgrounds include robotics, autonomous vehicles, industrial automation, aerospace, maritime, logistics, energy, or defense technology. Experience in geospatial intelligence or Earth observation is welcome but not required.

- Demonstrated ability to translate complex operational or customer requirements into product strategy, roadmaps, and technical requirements.

- Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing engineering, business, and customer stakeholders without direct authority; able to align senior leaders around priorities and tradeoffs.

- Strong understanding of modern software platforms, cloud-native a
