ABOUT THE ROLE

Join an early-stage industrial AI team building wearable AI products for field technicians in critical infrastructure. You will own the product layer around the AI systems, from real-time video pipelines and backend services to mobile and desktop clients.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Build the end-to-end experience connecting wearable devices, backend services, and companion applications.

- Develop cloud infrastructure for real-time video ingestion, APIs, and storage.

- Own reliable, observable backend APIs and data systems used by devices and AI services.

- Build mobile and desktop tools for setup, monitoring, and workflow configuration.

- Create safe deployment and release processes for software running on hardware in the field.

- Establish product architecture and engineering practices that support the team's growth.

- Debug issues across the frontend, backend, and device layers.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Two to five years of post-graduate software engineering experience, ideally including early-stage startup work.

- Experience building and shipping a product end to end, including backend APIs, data systems, and a user-facing web or mobile client.

- Strong full-stack skills with technologies such as TypeScript, Python, React, React Native, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Redis.

- Experience with cloud platforms and modern deployment tools, such as AWS, GCP, Supabase, Railway, Docker, and CI/CD.

- Ability to make sound architectural decisions independently and build scalable systems from an early stage.

- Background in real-time video, streaming, low-latency systems, mobile applications, or AI product integrations is valuable.

- Strong engineering fundamentals and a demonstrated record of building and shipping software.
