Job Summary

Bring your field experience to BlueFin Production Services - Capillary. We are seeking a Lead Service Technician for the Midland/Odessa area to perform field work, lead crews, and train technicians supporting oil and gas well operations. The role requires three years of related field experience; three years in the energy industry or a related sector is preferred. You will work under moderate supervision and use judgment within assigned responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Direct and perform capillary tubing installation, retrieval, and related field services under approved work plans and procedures; respond appropriately to changing field conditions.

- Lead and supervise a field crew and train Service Technicians on equipment operation and job requirements.

- Operate assigned spooling and capillary service equipment; train technicians in proper equipment use and associated pressure testing.

- Service, maintain, repair, and test equipment and tools in the shop and before and after jobs; load and unload equipment as needed.

- Communicate clearly with clients and office and field teammates; write or participate in Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).

- Participate in training on other services and comply with BlueFin HSE, quality, safety, and operating requirements.

Experience and Education

- High school diploma or GED.

- Three years of experience in a related field position.

- Three years of experience in the energy industry or a related sector preferred.

- Proven equipment-operation skills and ability to lead crews, train technicians, and communicate clearly in writing and verbally.

- Ability to understand and communicate in English for work instructions, safety information, and collaboration with team members.

- Reliable transportation to and from the BlueFin office.

Physical Requirements

- Work on land assignments, with travel throughout the United States.

- Extensive travel and overnight stays for extended periods may be required.

- Be available for 24-hour call, except during scheduled PTO.

- Work in harsh environmental conditions and sit or stand for extended periods.

- Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check, drug screen, Fit for Duty evaluation, and/or physical.
