We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused IT Support Officer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, helping others, and working in a role where no two days are the same.

About the Role

As the IT Support Officer, you will be the first point of contact for staff experiencing IT issues across our Brisbane locations. You will provide technical support, maintain hardware and software systems, assist with user access management, and help ensure our technology operates efficiently and securely.

You will also play an important role in staff onboarding and offboarding, ensuring employees have the systems access and technology they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide first-line technical support via phone, email, remote access, and in person.

- Set up and manage user accounts, passwords, and system permissions.

- Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.

- Perform software installations, updates, and routine system maintenance.

- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.

- Monitor IT systems and escalate complex issues when required.

- Maintain accurate records of support requests, system changes, and IT assets.

- Support cybersecurity initiatives and promote safe technology practices.

- Deliver basic training and guidance to staff on systems and technology.

- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including user access and training platform setup.

About You

You are patient, approachable, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service. You enjoy finding practical solutions to technical challenges and have strong organisational skills that allow you to manage competing priorities effectively.

Essential Skills & Experience

- Certificate IV, Diploma, or relevant qualification in Information Technology, or equivalent industry experience.

- Previous experience in an IT Support, Service Desk, or Help Desk role.

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.

- Understanding of computer hardware, networking concepts, and troubleshooting techniques.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.

- Current Australian Driver's Licence.

Desirable Skills

- Experience supporting Workforce Management systems and online learning platforms.

- Knowledge of SharePoint administration.

- Experience with endpoint management and cybersecurity practices.

- Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT asset management software.

Employment Requirements

Successful applicants will be required to obtain or currently hold:

- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card).

- Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card).

- Current Australian Driver's Licence.

Occasional after-hours work may be required to support business operations and system maintenance.
