Nature of Work:
Manage all on-field aspects of the Rapids 2 team.
Examples of work performed:
- Set and manage locker room environment with players and support staff
- Assist in the evaluation of player movement needs between First Team, Rapids 2 and Academy
- Participate in daily coordination of player movement between First Team, Rapids 2 and Academy
- Prepare and deliver training sessions within club philosophy
- Prepare and manage team in all competitions within club philosophy
- Complete US Soccer and MLS paperwork as required
- Fulfill media appearances as required by League and Club
- Travel as required
- Assist the President, Technical Director, Sporting Director and Director of Player Personnel with any other duties as assigned.

- Lift up to 50 lbs. up to 1/3 of time.
- Moderate to loud noise.
- Outdoor weather conditions 2/3 of time.
- Clear vision at 20”, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Qualifications
- Required
- US Soccer “A” License or pathway to obtain US Soccer A license or equivalent prior to 2027 MLSNP season is required
- Preferred
- US Soccer “Pro” License preferred
- Professional playing experience preferred.

- Demonstrated ability to teach techniques, tactics, physical and psychological components of soccer.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate and educate players and coaching staff
- Demonstrated knowledge and success in player development.
- Demonstrated knowledge & experience in Major League Soccer
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational and personnel management.
- Ability to create spreadsheets and routine business correspondence using Word and Excel software.
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities and multi-task effectively.
- Knowledge of professional sports team operations, public relations, and/or sponsor relations is preferred.
Compensation
- Base Salary Range $110,000 - $140,000 per annum
