We're looking for a Manufacturing Filling Operative to join our production team. If you're safety-conscious, enjoy hands-on work and take pride in producing high-quality products, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll doWorking as part of a busy manufacturing team, you'll be responsible for safely producing and filling paint products to the highest quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating filling and manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Manufacturing and filling products in line with production plans and specifications.
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
- Completing production paperwork and system transactions accurately.
- Supporting line changeovers and equipment set-ups.
- Moving raw materials and finished goods using manual handling equipment.
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards across the production area.
- Identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality and productivity.
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure daily production targets are achieved.
What we're looking forWe're looking for people with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, production or warehouse environment.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Basic IT skills and confidence using production systems.
- Strong attention to detail.
- The ability to follow procedures and work instructions.
- A reliable and team-focused approach.
- The ability to manually handle products weighing up to 18kg
Experience operating manufacturing equipment, lifting equipment or MHE would be advantageous, but full training can be provided.
