ABOUT THE ROLE
Lead a team building an AI context platform for a collaborative data analytics product. The platform helps users understand and improve how AI agents work with their data, combining human insight with automated learning and iteration.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead the engineering team responsible for the context platform.
- Set technical strategy, review designs, and contribute hands-on to implementation.
- Manage and support engineers, setting a high bar and helping them do their best work.
- Recruit strong engineering talent for the team.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 6 years of full-stack software engineering experience and 2 or more years managing engineers.
- Experience managing a team of 3 to 15 individual-contributor engineers.
- Recent hands-on experience building an agentic or AI-native product.
- Proficiency in TypeScript; experience with React, PostgreSQL, and Python is valuable.
- Background building technical products in a high-growth startup environment, ideally in data, analytics, or developer tools.
- Strong technical fundamentals, supported by a computer science or equivalent technical degree, or equivalent experience.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $221,000 to $295,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
LOCATION
Hybrid, based in San Francisco, California. The role includes working from the office twice a week.
