Senior Retail Project Lead

We are looking for an experienced Senior Retail Project Lead!
XXL is transforming it's store portfolio, and we are looking for an experienced Senior Retail Project Lead to take new store openings, relocations, refurbishments and concept rollouts from first brief to final handover.
In this role, you own the whole project. You plan the store, lead the execution and make sure the result delivers a great customer experience on time, within budget and in line with our retail concept.
What you will do:
- Lead store projects end to end, from brief and planning through execution, handover and close-out
- Develop store layouts and space plans based on our retail concept, assortment distribution, product presentation and capacity guidelines, including interior and fixture needs
- Own the project plan, budget, risks and documentation, and run clear communication routines with all stakeholders
- Work closely with other departments such as Category, Visual Merchandising, Space Management, Construction, store teams and suppliers
- Coach and guide other Project Leads and Project Supports, with possible staff responsibility
- Help develop our ways of working, project templates and store planning guidelines
Who you are:
- At least 4 years' experience in project management, with proven end-to-end delivery of retail store projects
- Experience in store planning, space planning or layout and interior work, ideally in large-format retail
- Able to develop and read store layouts (AutoCAD; SketchUp or Revit is a plus)
- Leadership experience, and project management training such as PMP or PRINCE2
- Structured, hands-on and accountable, with strong communication and stakeholder skills
- Interested in sports and retail, and holder of a class B driver's license
