Director of Reservations
Responsible for the overall strategic leadership and management of the Reservations Department. Directs Inbound and Outbound Reservations Sales, Group Reservations, Guest Recognition and reservation systems performance to maximize profitability, direct revenue production, inventory utilization and guest satisfaction. Partners closely with Revenue Management, Sales, Commercial and Rooms leadership to achieve budgeted occupancy, ADR, RevPAR and revenue goals while developing a high-performing reservations organization. This role is part of the Rooms Division, reporting to the Assistant Director of Rooms Division.
What You Will Do
• Provide strategic leadership for the Reservations Department and establish departmental goals, service standards and commercial objectives.
• Develop and execute strategies that increase direct, non-commissionable revenue and improve reservation conversion performance.
• Lead inbound and outbound reservations sales functions and cultivate a luxury consultative sales culture.
What You Will Bring
- Minimum two years leadership experience in luxury hotel reservations, revenue management, commercial strategy, sales or rooms operations.
- Minimum one year supervising managers and multifunctional teams.
- Experience managing large and/or remote reservations teams.
- Demonstrated commercial leadership success and revenue optimization experience
- Advanced analytical and commercial decision-making capability.
- Strong revenue management knowledge.
- Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills.
- Ability to develop managers and leaders.
- Strong understanding of PMS, CRS, distribution technologies and Microsoft Office Suite
What To Expect
• Full time schedule based on operational needs, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
