Client Success Lead - Digital Products
The Client Success Lead - Digital Products is responsible for the delivery, operation and continuous improvement of a digital platform that supports sustainability education in Victorian schools. The role combines digital product management and leadership, customer success and stakeholder engagement to maximise the value and impact of the platform.
ResourceSmart Schools Online plays an important role in helping schools take meaningful action on climate change. This position provides a unique opportunity to combine digital innovation, customer engagement and environmental impact.
Working with schools, commercial customers, program delivery partners and technology providers, the role ensures the platform delivers a high-quality user experience while supporting the achievement of educational and environmental outcomes. The position is responsible for managing customer relationships, overseeing platform operations, coordinating product enhancements and driving continuous improvement based on user feedback, business needs and performance insights.
The Client Success Lead - Digital Products also manages key supplier and contractual relationships, supports strategic planning and reporting activities, and contributes to the ongoing growth and success of the ResourceSmart Schools program. As an active member of the Education team, the role contributes to branch and departmental priorities and supports a collaborative, customer-focused and high-performing culture.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- Understands at a high-level how web-based applications are designed and built. Adept at understanding user journeys, digital interfaces, and web platforms, and how these programs are developed and project managed.
- Demonstrated project management experience and proven ability to scope, manage, report on program progress and outcomes.
- Considers historical, political and broader context to inform project direction and mitigate risk. Balances the needs of clients, team, and the organisation and delivers projects to achieve stated business outcomes, within timelines and budget.
- High written and oral communication skills, with ability to provide empathetic and clear communications with internal and external stakeholders. Strong written and oral communication skills including delivery and development of presentations, workshops, informative promotional materials and project reporting. Identifies key messages and information required for decision-making. Provides high-level advice on influencing and the needs of target audiences. Provides advice on the content and style appropriate to the audience.
- Identifies recurring problems and prevents future recurrence by integrating solutions into work process and systems change. Delivers tangible business outcomes as a result of critically evaluating problems from multiple perspectives and delivering effective solutions. Takes into account wider business context within business unit when considering options to resolve issues.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with stakeholders at a range of levels to build partnerships, influence decisions and deliver projects to help achieve shared objectives.
- Knowledge of and ability to develop and deliver procurement processes, contracting, and effectively plan and manage milestone delivery to meet project outcomes.
- This position requires a valid Working with Children Check or VIT registration.
Desirable selection criteria
- Education sector experience - Knowledge and experience in the formal education sector including working with schools.
- Innovation and continuous improvement - Uses understanding of clients or stakeholders' context to design and implement systems for continuous improvement within team or organisation; Reviews and analyses internal and external information to improve effectiveness and quality of work; Creates team environments where innovation and creativity are fostered and rewarded.
- Digital product management - Ability to look forward to create a longer term strategy for digital products and roadmaps, employing design-thinking and agile methodologies solve user problems and needs.
This is a fixed term position available until 30 June 2027. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
