Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.
Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the ‘Courts Group'.

The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. The MCV determines in excess of 200,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, dealing with over 90 percent of all adult cases that come before Victorian courts each year.

About the Role
The Magistrates' Court of Victoria is seeking a customer-focused and analytical Technology Operations Analyst to join our Technology Services team. Working closely with the Service Delivery Manager, you will play a key role in delivering technology initiatives that enhance court operations, improve user experience, and support staff and judicial officers across the state.
As the Technology Operations Analyst, you will support the delivery of court technology solutions by gathering and analysing business requirements, evaluating technology options, coordinating testing and training activities, and contributing to the successful implementation of technology projects.
You will work with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, provide expert advice, and help ensure technology services remain responsive, reliable and fit for purpose.
This is a 12 months fixed term opportunity to contribute to technology initiatives that directly support the delivery of justice across Victoria. You will work on meaningful projects, collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, and help shape the future of technology services within a dynamic and purpose-driven organisation.
About You
You will bring:
- Experience analysing, testing, implementing and supporting business systems and technology solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks, opportunities and service improvements.
- Experience gathering requirements, facilitating workshops and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience developing training materials, user documentation and delivering training programs.
- Knowledge of technology best practices, hardware and software environments, and continuous improvement approaches.
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- A relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent industry experience is highly regarded.
- Travel to court locations across Victoria may be required.
