APS Cloud Specialist
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for an APS Cloud Specialist to join an international project in a dynamic and multicultural environment. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of critical applications and services, acting as a key contributor to production support activities and operational excellence initiatives. You will work closely with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to provide technical and functional support, manage releases, improve service reliability, and drive automation across cloud-based environments. What You Will Do on a Daily Basis
- Provide technical and functional support for business-critical applications and services
- Monitor application health, performance, and availability to ensure operational stability
- Handle incidents, service requests, and production support activities while meeting defined service level objectives
- Analyze application, system, and middleware logs to identify and resolve issues
- Manage and coordinate application releases and deployments within your scope
- Ensure the smooth execution of operational processes, including batch jobs, transfers, and application workflows
- Implement and enhance monitoring capabilities for applications and infrastructure
- Develop and maintain operational documentation, procedures, and knowledge articles
- Contribute to service quality improvements through automation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Build and maintain Ansible playbooks and Terraform scripts to automate provisioning, configuration, and deployments
- Support and participate in Disaster Recovery and business continuity testing activities
- Collaborate with development teams during application changes and knowledge transfer sessions
- Provide support within a 24/7 operational model, including shift work and on-call rotations
- Contribute to risk mitigation activities, production readiness, and operational compliance requirements
- Support and mentor team members on cloud technologies, automation, Docker, and Kubernetes

Your Main Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of professional experience in IT Operations, Application Support, or Software Engineering
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or IBM Cloud
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Ansible and Docker
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems, command-line tools, and shell scripting
- Proficiency in Python and/or Bash scripting
- Experience with Kubernetes administration and containerized environments
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools, including Ansible and Terraform
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices and tools
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in production environments with incident management responsibilities
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools
- Good understanding of ITIL practices and service management frameworks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively within international and multicultural teams
- Fluency in English is mandatory
- Experience in banking or financial services environments is highly valued
- Knowledge of PL/SQL and Dynatrace is considered an advantage
- Professional certifications in Cloud platforms, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, or related automation technologies are considered a plus
