Fancy being part of the team behind the festive buzz at Seven Dials Market? We're looking for seasonal team members to join us for our busiest and most vibrant time of the year.
Whether you're looking to gain hospitality experience, pick up new skills, or simply earn some extra money over the festive season, this is a great opportunity to join a supportive team and experience life at one of London's most exciting food and drink destinations. You'll primarily be based at Seven Dials Market, but may also have the chance to support our KERB Sports Bar team during peak trading periods and events, giving you exposure to different sides of the KERB business.
We're looking for team members who can join us for 2 months from Monday 2nd November and bring great energy throughout the festive season.
As a Host at Seven Dials Market, you'll be at the heart of providing exceptional hospitality, making sure our guests have an amazing time with top-notch service. You'll also spend your time on the floor engaging in conversation with our guests, taking drink orders, spreading great vibes, and creating unforgettable experiences. You'll work closely with our supportive and people-centric management and supervisory team to keep everything running smoothly in both the front and back of house. If you'd like to be part of a dynamic, hard-working and people-centric team, a role as a Host at Seven Dials Market by KERB could be for you!- Maintaining an excellent understanding of the food and beverage offering at SDM and making recommendations to guests based on their preferences
- Providing exceptional hospitality and maintaining strong communication skills with Traders and colleagues
- Handling Reservation administration on Seven Rooms as required
- Supporting the Floor Manager in ensuring that customer flow in and out of the venue is as smooth as possible
- Working closely alongside all teams within the market to deliver fantastic events and service, including bar and floor teams, Traders and external stakeholders.
- Seat and assist customers with various requests, queries, complaints/issues and escalate to line manager when necessary
- Taking direction from senior members of the team, but also using your initiative to work independently and maintain a calm and professional approach in a busy environment
Essential- Previous experience of working in a customer facing role with a strong focus on guest / customer experience and service, Ideally in a high-volume environment but this isn’t essential!
- A passion for ‘Exceptional Hospitality’ and facilitating great guest experiences
- A willingness to rolling up your sleeves and pitch in from time to time on non-designated areas of the business - particularly on site
Desired but not essential- Previous experience working within Hospitality
- Previous experience in bar, pub, or venue operations
