Full-Time Dental Assistant | Pine Ridge Dental GroupLongmont, COPine Ridge Dental Group is looking for a skilled, friendly Dental Assistant to join our team! Schedule: Tuesday–Thursday, 7:45am–5pm; Friday, 8:45am–3pm (four-day work week!)
Pay: $23–$27/hour
What you’ll do:
- Prepare operatories and sterilize instruments
- Assist the dentist chairside using four-handed dentistry
- Take x-rays and intraoral photos
- Enter treatment plans accurately based on the doctor’s diagnosis
- Educate patients and give post-operative instructions
- Complete dental charting and coding
- Handle lab duties, including pouring models, taking impressions, and fabricating temporary crowns
- Stock supplies and maintain equipment
- Document and protect patient health information accurately
What you’ll bring:
- 1+ Years/Experience as a Dental Assistant
- CPR/BLS certification
- Radiology certification
- Experience with dental software such as Open Dental or Dentrix
- Solid knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
